Leaf Shape Match Fall Sensory Bin Activity
Looking for a fun way to practice shapes while having some sensory bin fun?
Try this leaf shape match Fall sensory bin freebie!
Supplies needed:
- Bowl/storage container or bin
- Leaves (from craft supply store or from a nature walk outside)
- Printable pages (download this freebie below)
- Scissors
- Optional additions: pumpkins, tongs/tweezers
Simply print out the pages, grab a bin, some leaves and you are ready for some shape matching Fall sensory bin fun!
For best results, print pages on cardstock for more durability. You can choose from two options: buy leaves from your local craft supply store (like shown in picture) or you could easily head outside and grab some leaves from a nature walk!
For extra fun, try adding some pumpkins to your sensory bin or tongs to grab the leaf shapes for a little extra fine motor practice!
We also really enjoyed reading the book What is Fall? It has the cutest little illustrations and went perfectly with this Fall sensory bin!
This activity was so much fun and playing with the leaves and additional pumpkins made the activity last even longer!
